First off I would like to thank everyone on EliteTrack. Although I’ve only been here for a short period of time, you guys have looked after me like family. Now, it’s my chance to return the favor.

Here’s a story, for those of you who love stories. I’m currently a 16 year old high school student. Last school year (sophomore year), I suffered a terrible ankle sprain from landing on another players foot. I did not give adequate time for it to heal properly. I missed my basketball season and track season. So everyday in my PE class, for a whole school year, I would limp my 2 laps and limp when playing any sport. This was because I could not accept anything less than my best, I never do things half-heartedly. I went to various doctors, most prescirbed motrin to me, but that didn’t do the trick. I just left it alone all last summer 2004 and didn’t do anything. September 2004, I felt like I could jog lightly, but there was still this tendon or ligament near my ankle that felt so stiff. One night I got so frustrated, that I woke up from my sleep and cut the skin on my foot. But now it feels more flexible, after doing stretches. With my track season approaching next week, I feel unready. My ankle still feels restrictive.I do footwear testing for nike, and received an email invitation to do a basketball shoe test. For the past year or so, I’ve pretty much ignored their emails, knowing that I can not play. So here it is, the applications for Nike product testing.
https://niketown.nike.com/niketown/info/product_testing.jsp. I just sent in my applicaiton for running. There’s testings for trainers, flats, spikes, etc. I’ve done many tests for basketball, and only have positive experiences. If you have any questions, I might be able to answer them.
thanks
