I saw a question similar to this in another section of the Board but was unable to post this there. I know of a young man who has 6 weeks to prepare for a college football combine. He plays the position of QB and WR and will be tested in the 40, pro agility, LJ and VJ (no BP I believe). The rest of the combine will involve position specifics such as pocket footwork and throwing to receivers off of 3 step, 5 step and rollout drops as a QB and the same as a WR. He is involved in a spring (lax) sport and therefore has a fairly busy schedule up until his combine. On the days he has games/practice, he has about 15 minutes to work on things related to the combine. He also has one full day on the weekend. Assume he is an overall above average athlete – more strong than fast. How would you train him? What would be the best use of his time during the week and on the weekend day he has available?
Your thoughts/suggestions are appreciated.
