Adidas’ 2005 catalog doesn’t come out for a few weeks, but I found these spikes on one of their partners’ sites.

          https://www.sports-shoes.net/product.asp?sectionid=405&productid=696&catalogue=7

Adidas 2005 Lightsprint. I know they say available only in UK and Ireland, but they say that about all the shoes, and it’s not true. Anybody know when they should show up in the states?

P.S. How do you view spikes on Adidas’ site, or do they not support them?

omg i cant help you with the release date on those but they are SWEEEET. anw the adidas site doesnt display its spikes anymore. it used to display the deMOlisher, but with the new format i cant find it so i suppose they took it off. might be wrong. :

I wonder if an e-mail to Adidas would be the solution to an answer.

i actually own the lightsprints, im from canada and i have the 2005, they are very good spikes, they dont fit my foot the best but i like them alot and find them alot more supportive than the 2004’s. Try searching espikes .com and they have the 2005 lightsprints

It’s been over a week since I sent Adidas an e-mail about the shoes, so I sent another one.

TheChosen1 stuns me again with his knowledge of the spike world.

I believe you, but could I see the quote, if possible? I want to see what he says is wrong with it, and I want to see how he says it.

And Wariner uses MD spikes, right? That’s what he’s wearing in a pic in the new T&F magazine. Surprised me a bit. Thought he wore Maxcats, or at least sprint spikes.

Adidas found them in a store in California for me. If they have my size, and if they aren’t too pricy, I might get them. We’ll see.

$85. That’s steep. I’ll probably pass. I’ve got to kick my spike addicition anyhow.

not so fast man. Not until you’ve tried out some Asics Cyberflash. Cmon man. Those spikes just smoke all spikes. Great sprint/hurdle spike. Them Japs really have something going.

I wish they had them in my size. They kind of do, they have 11.5, but I wear 11 now. I’m sure my foot will grow though, but I hope not by much. Finding spikes in my size is hard enough as it is, and I don’t want to grow too much because that would render all my other spikes useless.

I was also looking at the Cyber MD.
