This is like a Redbull in pill form…but you’ll get quicker affects with Redbull

          80mg caffeine
          1,000mg of taurine
          600 mg glucuronolactone

          -I advise against both-

          Why advise against both?

because you can just start drinking coffee before workouts receive the same affects and it will be a quarter of the price.

          That’s my kind of advice!

I don’t doubt the efficacy of these products but I’ve always wondered why people overlook coffee. A double shot of espresso would likely achieve a far bigger short term boost than most of these supplements.

Its not really that practical to go get a coffee inbetween rounds at comps! Thats why I would tend to use Red Bull.

For some reason Im very sensitive to caffeine if I take it in any other form but Red Bull too, I end up getting cramp.

Why not keep this simple? If you want a stimulant then get it in it’s purest form for as cheap as possible. Caffeine pills bought in bulk (usually 100 ct w/ 200mg each) can be had for $5 or less. This gives you an option that is portable, and you don’t have to consume an insane amount of sugar like you would with an energy drink.

You could even bottle some espresso or double brew coffee if you wanted and put it chilled in a water bottle.

Caffeine pills work too. Because they are so pure though the affect seems to be very fast and shorter lived….meaning you can potentially mistime or be forced to take again (bad).

Taurine has been known to prevent back cramps in people that are prone to them for whatever reasons. There’s taurine in Red Bull …

Is the sugar aspect not a positive 20-30 mins prior to competition?
