My track no longer has a head coach/sprint coach. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we can do light plyo’s and running drills with the girls track team, Monday Wednesday Friday we are invited to lift and do plyo’s with our throwers coach
So basically my schedule looks like this.
Monday- Lift/plyos
Tuesday- Running drills/light plyos
Wednesday- Lift/plyos
Thursday-Running drills/light plyos
Friday-Lift/plyos
I’ve been doing this for around 2-3 weeks, almost no actual sprinting ever. When we get a head coach(who knows when that will be) we will probably start running. But until then, do you think this is a good schedule, or some days should I stray away and try to run else where.
Also, during winter break, there is no practice and I’m almost fully recovered from a recent sickness, what type of workouts should I be doing?
Unfortunately, I have no access to an outdoor track, being in northern Illinois, it’s pretty cold. Though I have access to a weightroom and a small indoor track
