Updating a previous item, Steph Stradley of the Houston Chronicle reports that Andre Johnson did have surgery to repair the distal tendon of his hamstring. He didn’t undergo platelet-rich plasma therapy. Per Stradley, the projected three-week recovery time remains the same. The procedure “went well,” and the Texans are believed to be targeting Week 8 for Johnson to return. The Texans, of course, have provided no official timetable.
Really 3 weeks???
