wow….sad.

I had the pleasure of meeting him when I was in Italy for Euro Jrs in 2001. We had been writing back and forth via email for the past few years. When I told him I was coming to Italy he came to our hotel in Grosetto and we had a long lunch and talked. I was (and still am) very honored.
