I have a friend who coaches an athlete that I used to work with. She is an elite DIII sprinter who pulled her hamstring back in March. She has now returned to competition. She has a lost her high level of fitness as well as overall speed. She has run 12.03 in the past and 7.08 for 55m. She has approximately 5 weeks until NCAA’s, however she still needs to qualify. I would think that her shot is to get her as fast as you can get her over a 4 or 5 weeks span. Here is a set up that I think would work well for her. Comments?

Wednesday – Max V./Speed End.
Thursday – Tempo
Friday – Compete
Saturday – Tempo
