          Pierre-Jean Vazel and Jimson Lee have made some enlightening comments regarding the starting blocks, reaction time, and running times. While the history is clear, the context is a little foggy since various devices and track surfaces will create some interesting questions on who is the fastest to ten ever.           Gardner and Collins were the fastest i’ve ever seen to 10m. Like bullets they seems to the naked eye.

          yea it’s amazing to see a great sprinter or jumper (especially long) with the naked eye. The fastest I’ve seen was a 10.3 sprinter doing block starts and he seemed just from another world

          Gardner and Collins were the fastest i’ve ever seen to 10m. Like bullets they seems to the naked eye.

          The year I ran 6.55, he could still put over 2m over me at 30m!
