im a 16yr old sprinter 6ft 2in, currently running 11.4 for 100m (PB 11.33 last season), 23.5 for 200m and 7.2 for 60m. ive never had a strong core but i am very interested to see how much i could potentially improve my 100m time by the 5th/6th of july if i began to concentrate a lot more on strengthening my core. earlier this season i was out for a month and a half (march/april) with a hamstring injury, now that i have fully recovered and have a few races done im hoping to break my PB. i’d appreciate any info you could give me!
By how much could a strong core improve times?
