Ok…so I have been thinking about weight/plyos/speed progressions throughout the year, and I think the typical standard progression looks something like this:
Accel-Max V-Speed Endurance-Competition
In Place-Double Leg Jumps-Single Leg Jumps-Depth Jumps
Anyway, what I was thinking about was the idea of having the themes that complement each other best go together throughout the year. So, like accel/max strength/plyos w/full extension/long contact times and max v would be with power/shorter contact time hurdle hops type stuff. So with that, I was wondering in that type of progression what would be the plyos/weights focus for speed endurance and competition phases? Why?
