I’m not a fan of doing abs until the end . . .same reasons as above, no reason to fatigue core stabilizers while they are still needed for other exercise. I’m not a big fan of doing hundreds of reps either. If you want the core to be strong, train it with weights for lower reps . . .on max effort days I’ll have the athletes go as low as sets of 5 with heavy weights. On repeated effort days, I do have them rep out, but for only 2-3 sets.
