i just moved from northern Ohio to houston texas and as you can tell there is a HUGE climate difference i ran cross country and track in 7th grade and i moved in 8th and my new school did not have xc so i ran track not running xc made me extremly our of shape for track but now as the season is ending i have slowly gained some of my endurance back as now i am entering high school and i am starting cross country once agian i was wondering if you had suggestions of not to hard but not to easy work outs for a 14 year old which is how old i am!( just to keep and or improve my endurance further) i would like to continue running on my own untill offical school practice starts. In HS we run 2 miles for a race and i would like to know some drills and training i should do in the heat for my age and for my distance running. THANKS!!
