For the sake of my hamstring and it’s need for recovery, I have been instructed to make use of a stationary bike for substitute of my sprint-training. I did one yesterday and I’m doing one now. I did like 10 all out 20-25sec cyclingsprints on maximum resistance (300W i think) and 5 x 10-12sec sprints at max resistance. I’m wondering if this may be too taxing since I am recovering from overtraining, ham injury and all (not severe)?
I like to have high intensity/volume, so that workout didn’t feel ballistic at all to me, it was pretty easy. Although I had to get off the bike and lean towards the wall a couple of times.. 😀 (in between sprints I cycle lightly for 5-7 minutes)
Gonna do the same thing today. Does the WO look good?
