I am working on my sons gpp for the decathlon. He is 16 and fairly new to t&f.
I have a level III coaches certificate but unfortunately it is in baseball.
Last March he broke his ankle and was not able to even wlk for about twelve weeks,most of his track season was wiped out. Trained haphazardly for June and part of July. Only weight train for Aug.
I was hoping to get some feedback on his gpp. Leg strength seems to be a bit of an issue as his clean is comparable to his squat and only learned clean 30 days ago.Here is the schedule for this week.
weights and MB
MB throws 6 diff throws x5 2 sets
jump squats 5r x3 with 20lbs
incline bench 20r x3 with 20lbs
cleans 3r x7
squat 5r x5
bench 6r x4
back ext 12r x 3 with 20lbs
