If one was looking to do upper body strength training prior to doing sprint work, would this have a negative affect on the sprint work (CNS)??? Due to scheduling problems the strength work would be early in the morning and the speed work would be in the late afternoon.
I was looking at something like this:
Mon- (am) Upper (pm) Speed Work
Tues – Tempo
Wed – Lower body strength
Thur – Tempo
Fri – (am) Upper (pm) Speed Work
Any input would be great………
