Does anyone have historical test results from elite/emerging elite male LJ/TJ/HJ athletes for this test? I have tons of female data and almost no male results.
Double Double (RRLL) Test Results?

For both men and women I've always found it matches up nearly perfectly with TJ performance.

It tends not to too correlate as well with LJers / sprinters who don't practice the event. I think it's probably a good indication of 'what could be' possible. Kinda like OHB for throwing the shot put.

isnt that the truth….im a long jumper and did 16.50m double double and my TJ PB is 14.71m
haha

well, with tjers the double double usually is less than what he/she triple jumps by a little bit….

could this be done as a prewarmup plyo work prior to speed sessions for a short sprinter?
I don't see why not. Coach Shaver gives athletes the option of doing Multi-jumps in the warmup. Most choose not to do them but I could see they would serve the same role as some short accelerations. The only issue might be finding an open pit to do them in to. You wouldn't want to do these landing on a track.

Sorry should have clarified…..I meant competition warmup…and yes they have the option to do it there as well.
I think they do MJs 2-3x per week.

I have found this test to not always be an accurate predictor. I think a lack of elastic qualities necessitated for triple jumping can be overcome by greater static strength qualities.
Barto, email me I'd like to see your data and give you what I have for males.
