Okay I know most people who are going to read this thing are going to think.. what is she thinking and she is not working hard enough. Well honestly this is what I fit in my busy schedule.. suggestions would be nice but just dont yell at me about my training
A little bit about me; I'm 17 and used to run the 100m,200m,4x200m,4x100m. I want to make the transition to a 400m runner. So this should be an interesting test. I have never done any winter conditioning due to basketball soo this is all new to me. I also run inside most of the time inside because its very cold and snowy in Ohio.
Monday Inside 28 degrees
5 minute warmup (running around the school)
2x Form Run (A skip, B skip, High knee butt kicks, and Rockets)
Well my school was pretty anti-track soo I was not allowed to do the circuit workout as planned.
I did a circuit weight lifting with 5lbs.( It was too light) 3×15 bicep curls, 3×15 shoulder presses, 1×15 butterflies, 2×15 tricep kickbacks, 3×25 pushups, 1×30 crunches, 1×30 bicycles, and 1x1min plank.
It was my first practice.
Tuesday Home 29 degrees
Now this will be weird 30 minutes of yoga, and an hour of Step, Pump and Jump (cardio, weights, and abs)
Wednesday School 32 degrees

4x Form Run same as above
Plyometrics: 2×30 box step ups, 2×30 box jumps, 1×30 line jumps, 3×10 squat thrusts, 3×10 power genuflects, 3×10 calf raises.
A lot of Ab work.
Thursday 23 degrees and lots of snow School
5 minute warmup

Wall runs: 1 set of 3 by 3s and 2 sets of 2 by 2s. Well if anyone doesn't know what a wall run is its running up and down the hall.
Circuit Lifting with 8lbs: 2×15 bicep curls, 2×15 shoulder presses, 1×15 butterfiles( I hate this one), 1×15 tricep kickbacks, 1×1 min crunches, 2×25 pushups, and 1×45 sec plank.
Friday 27 degrees and lots of snow Home
30 minutes of yoga and 1 hour of Latin Fat Blaster
Yes I have a very unusual training.. 3 days a week I work out at school the rest is at home. If any one has an inside suggestions it would help. My coach always told us that we should run outside if it was colder than 40 especially as sprinters to prevent injuries. I will update on Sunday
