Hey guys, I’m new to the forums, hoping to make a few friends here and there and learn more about sprinting and triple jump as I go along.
Well I’m only 15 years old and 1.83m, and I’m having issues with my drive phase. I feel like whenever i try to stay low as I start out, instead of accelerating quickly I tend to move slower than if i shot my head up over just a few steps. I noticed this because during training, whenever i run next to my team mate, I’m always on par with him until the point at which I lift my head up, no matter how far this is, from 15m to 30m. Any thoughts? Could it be that I’m holding my drive phase down too long?
