I know ive never met any of you but, I had a vision.
What if we had a meet with all the members, has anyone ever thought of this or am I just crazy.

Anyway what do you guys think. Who would win such and such events. Even though we can’t prove for sure who is the best.

In my vision I imagined what you guys look like and everything.

i look nothing like a europeon haha people always think im either mixed, black/white or im spanish so yea pretty off. think mike could set something up this summer when everyone is out of school that would be kind of nice seeing all these track nuts in one place competing like crazy

          nickjump20 on April 22, 2005 at 3:43 am #44281

That would be nice but would be very hard to organize, but think if it happened, it could be come huge.

p.s. Cobra what you think I look like race, hegiht, weight, hair, etc.

ima say your black, 5’10 166. it would be huge, we wouldnt need any medals or anything either just the fact that were all competing would be nice. we could organize it by age groups, 15-16, 17-18 etc

Wasn’t an elite track relay team already suggested or something??? Yeah and you guys are sick with the posting.

          ingar on April 22, 2005 at 3:30 pm #44295

What the dingdong is with all the posting?? Shizzle… 😀

Why don’t we all just post up pictures or something? Instead of guessing and describing what we all look like, haha.

It would be fun to meet though, but that is nearly impossible. Hypothetically, if we would meet, it would have to be at some sort of games, like WC or Olympics where we would go anyway.

yeah an elitetrack relay, team, etc. have all been suggested. a meet would definately be cool, but it probably wont happen anytime soon.

yea i doubt it. all of us are all over the country, it would be a lot of work to get us together, guess the only place to compete in the Junior Olympics

So maybe we can do something like, forming teams on elitetrack. Then during each “meet,” we’d post our best performance in our event during that day [let’s all be honest] and see how it goes. For example if our “meet” is during Saturday, each of us would go down to the track and “compete” in our event. Then we would record our result and post it here to see how we did compare to the other elite track members. It may be kinda dull, but i think it may be a good way to show us where we stand and maybe motivate us to improve more. Each team members can also help each other out with training tips, techniques etc . You guys get what i’m saying here?

 onk= member of the year. Lets get it started, but I dunno which forum this competition should be in? mike? I’ve got another idea, how about elite track regional teams? For example, we could go by city or county. But state would be a little too far-fetched, because it’ll be pretty hard to meet.

i dont even think theres anyone from my city, state on this forum, i would be a loner running all 4 legs of the 4×1:D

Maybe we can get into teams according to our age/training background/etc. Just some thoughts. Like a team should have a ratio of about 2 college for every 1 high school person or vice versa. something like that.

          pesiroil on April 25, 2005 at 8:14 am #44303

Onk’s idea is good, since elitetracks members are so far spread. I believe we can all be honest.

Regional teams would be cool though.

hmm is there a way to get a chart to see how many people are in each state/country? Maybe someone could make one and have people register there statistics on it.
