so if i get it right the correct acc. mechanics (piston-like) that put you into a favorable position for maxV running and thus lead to faster 100m times are slower than large "grabbing" steps with higher stridefrequency without the active impulse extension etc.
so do you guys think its ok to use the latter in the winter and change mechanics for the summer´s 100m, or is that only hard to do?
the only other cons against the faster "grabbing" acc. would be the stress on the hamstring group, but i guess one can manage. am i an idiot? :duh:
