IAAF is having fantasy athletics for the world champs – it sounds awesome. The links below….You'd better read the rules – 1 athlete from country and so on.

only 1 athlete per country….so that eliminates alot of the top guys. i.e USA, Russia etc.

And one more question – if I choose an athlete, who competes in two disciplines – then I get double points, for each discipline, or I get points only for better discipline?

You guys know about the shirts that can be won with the most points for a single day. Well, I was wondering what if it's the first day of a decathlon, would a person who finishes in the top 8 overnight be awarded points or would it not be till the entire decathlon is completed? I don't think you can and even if you could I wouldn't tell you….I'm out to win.

I've had a good 2 days with qualifying so far. I have Ostapchuk on my team and she barely made it through qualifying. Hopefully, she can turn things around in the final.

I've already used the code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A if you must know) so it can't be used again. I've got Sergey Bubka, Carl Lewis, Al Oerter, and Michael Johnson….as you can see that code by-passes the 1-athlete per country restriction.

HA. I'm winning. Asafa hurt me though. Luckily I had Gay as my team captain but I was counting on him to win the 200m and Safa to win the 100m. So far, I've had 2 event winners and a bronze medalist. I switched out Ostapchuk for Villi…a semi-risky move that paid off. I'm looking good so far.

I got my points for Kluft this morning. There seems to be about an 8-12 hour delay between the conclusion of the events and the awarding of points.

On a bright note, another one of my team all-stars just won (Bekele). Right now, the weak link on my team is that slacker 100m world record holder who only brought in 50 points.

Now that the event is over the only good that would do is getting her popped for a post-event test. I didn't read anything in the rules though stating that we can't do that.

lol, I was fully aware of the rules of one transfer per day but I momentarily forgot last night so swapped Powell who had 50pts for Gregorio – who ended up winning me 75 – so as to choose Veronica Campbell who was also from Jamaica. Obviously I forgot about the one transfer limit and so I missed out on Campbell's win in the hundy lol

The ease at which these guys were running fast times was incredible.  I'm thinking we might see Wariner break the 400 record and Tyson smash the championship record in the 200, maybe even run in the 19.4s.  This track is special.

It seems like if you swap out immediately after the event (before points have been awarded) you might get points. If you swap out AFTER points have been awarded you won't get the points.
