Iv been out injured for 8 weeks and am now ready to begin training again. Having been out for so long, do i begin by only doing slow jogs as my run training to build a background(to prevent any new injurys from excessive strain too early) for a few weeks before doing acc./strides/and tempo, or do i begin straight away with these running trainings (acc/strides/tempo)?

i´d do more than jogging.  get used to sprinting again with short easy dashes,  elevating intensity and length from session to session for example.  to  excessive tempo, lift weights etc.
you´ll feel when its time to start hardcore work again.

so with the injuries having been calf and ankle, shall i begin immediately with acc, tempo and strides or jogging?

          [/quote]I think so what? 😀

I'd start with some lighter running / jogging to start. Your ankle is likely not ready to handle the loads in sprinting. As the ankle strengthens gradually add in acceleration work.
