          what are the best workouts to increase max velocity?and how should i go about shaving 8 to 9 hundreths off of my 55m time?

          thank you that helps a lot do you think i can lower my 55 time from 6.79 to 6.61 in that time considering i have never done top end speed work?

          I’m not sure what duration of time you’re talking about but a 0.2 second drop is definitely possible in the course of a season.

          The results of working hard for 2 weeks won’t have much effect on the time you run at the end of those 2 weeks. At two weeks out from a given competition your proverbial hay is already in the barn. Hopefully, you’ve been working hard the last month or so.

          i’ve been working on starts and getting in shape but i’ve been training by myself so i don’t know where i’m at or where i can go with my times.
