I am starting to change my philosophy as far as my rep scheme goes. I now see no need to go over 5-6 reps ever. Even in the AA phase where the concern is getting the body ready for the season, I would still use low intensity and to increase the volume I would increase the sets not the reps. As a sprinter/jumper I don’t find that high reps are at all beneficial.
I am curious to here other members thoughts on this.
