How much rest do I need afer a season? I have been training for 11 months, hard.
I have many nagging injuries that has influenced my training negatively. So I think I both mentally and physically need some time off. Would 30-50 days be suffient?
I want to be sure my hamstring will be ok.
What kind of activities should I do during the rest period? Some bodyweight training?
Swimming, cycling, roller blades? Is it best to start with them after a complete 2-3 weeks rest?
I have noticed when taking complete rest I kind of gets abit depressed, and very lazy. Maybe some hormonal changes happens when I just completely stops training. Maybe also mentally. Any advice how to overcome the “bad” feeling when taking long rest from running?
