My daughter is a middle distance runner (400/800). A couple months ago, she started feeling pain in her achilles. She went to the doctor, didn’t run for about 3.5 months. The very day she started running again, she felt the pain come back. She’s seeing a Physical Therapist, but she keeps tellin us that this is only something minor. As a dad, I’m of course very concerned, being that her track team starts training in about 4 weeks. For what it’s worth, she has an EXTREMELY low pain threshold.
What is (could be) her problem, and how can I fix it?
