What would be a ideal off season training for middle distance runner?
my track season is only month left and i have no idea what to do over the summer!
So i was thinking about competing tri/duathlon.. Is this good idea?
I think triathlon training would be a great idea. Especially if you stick to the sprint triathlon distances.
Make sure you don’t overdo it though, it is meant to be off season.
I believe coupling swimming with running is great for middle distance runners. Back in the day oregon used it with great success.
Can you tell a little more about this. How long ago was it and what did they do?
