I have a couple of athletes who are planning on playing volleyball this fall. Volleyball "conditioning" begins in two weeks. These athletes told me they still wanna lift even though they will partiipate in the conditioning. However, their volleyball days run from 9am-noon, an hour break in between, then from 1pm-4pm. They told me if it was ok with me, they'd like to go to the weight room during their noon break from volleyball and do their lifting before going back at 1pm.
My question is, would this be too much for them, or could they get away with it? Thoughts?
