I'm currently in GPP for jumps going 3 hard days per week.
Next week i'm doing long jump in a meet on tuesday, but i want to stay on my M W F program. Would it be bad to continue on my training program and throw in maybe 3 or 4 full long jumps in a meet on a tuesday? I havent been training specifically for the meet and I dont want to throw off my training…..
Can I continue my plan and do the long jump with no alterations? Or, if some are needed just lower the volume Wednesday(I would rather not, unless I really feel it)?
