    Mindless Training

          Two days this week I watched a football team finish their weight workout with 15 to 20 minute of “Abs” all on the ground, just counting out reps, no coaching, no concentration, no intensity! Mindless work is not training. To quote a grizzled old football coach “when I see players lying around on the ground or sitting they are not training for the game.” Last time I checked the game is play

          Every single team at CSUF no matter if it’s top 5 ranked baseball team, basketball, shot putters, soccer, tennis etc etc etc…spend 10 mins lying on the ground after every weights workout doing abs…

          i actually do AB or core work after weights..it all planned out and is quite challenging..i think it has really helped me to be honest helps prevent injuries..i started taking core more seriously after being advised by a dunker(wont say his name) and it really has helped my performance got past 10ft SLJ after incorporating core work
