I have been diagnosed with a pretty bad case of anterior pelvic tilt. My Hip Flexors are really tight as well as my lower back. Everytime I try doing Glute exercises my Quads, lower back, and hip flexors take over the entire exercise. Even with some Glute isolation exercises such as single leg deadlifts, Glute bridges, and cable pull throughs my lower back takes over completely.
I started doing single leg squats against all wall with a basu-ball behind my back while squeezing my butt and performing a kegel, and these worked for a while but ultimately my quads are now taking most of the exercise.
My weak glutes are also causing my femurs to interally rotate, which is quite bothersome for a sprinter.
Does anyone have any suggestions on getting my glutes to actually get some work in?
