i guess you’re on the heavy end of the scale relative to your height so assuming you’re not carrying any excess body fat your upper body must be pretty big. unless you feel this is helping your performance (which it probably isn’t) you could lose a few lbs of upper body muscle
Your right, this has been a problem for me since I started sprinting, I did too much bench press before I started sprinting (2 years ago) and I’ve had some difficulties with shin splints etc. but I think it’s alright now.. However, I did bench about 355 lbs, which is above average for a sprinter I guess, and back then I didn’t excercise lower body at all. Anyway, thanks for the advice 🙂
