They say he will make a full recovery. I don’t think it is a conspiracy though.

Didn’t read the article but what could the possible conspiracy be? UCLA commissioned to have him shot? 😉

I think it probably was gang related as it suggested in the article.

just cause a gang member shot him doesn’t mean it gang reprisal shootings…if your shooting to kill you dont shoot someone in the leg of all places

I have lived in California for 6 years. I also knew one guy who played football for USC and his brother therefore I know a little about the area.

Despite what you see on T.V and the “under reported” crime stats you see listed at USC, and other schools; southern California can turn into a dangerous place real quick if you dont know where you are or who you are talking too.

USC is just a stones throw away from many of the dangerous areas in southern California. At night, just a few blocks away, Figueroa turns into an area crawling with drug sales, prostitutes, pimps and God knows what else.

More or less, I still fault Nellum for being shot because according to the reports it was way past his bed time!! What is it with these athletes? They always want to be out in the club, in a bar, and out late at night?? What wrong with cooking good meals at home with your lady/guy and watching a movie together? It’s so much better and much safer.

Nevertheless, In LA there are many gang recruitment’s were a random person can be shot and killed for NO REASON. D&M the running! He is lucky to be alive because just 30 min from there the Inglewood cemetery is full of young people who weren’t so lucky!
