Hey Mike please don’t take this personal but can you please bring back the old site because this new site is not doing my body good!!!

I don’t take it personal but unfortunately I couldn’t turn it back even if I wanted to. The migration to the new database is actually what took so long and we’d lose 3-4 months worth of posts. I can’t afford (time wise or financially if I had someone reverse engineer it) to go back.

What is it exactly that you’re not liking? The reason I ask is that there are several issues that are currently being resolved:
*The text formatting issue on the forum (no line breaks, etc).
*The “most recent posts” issue…this one’s harder but I recognize it as a priority. Oddly, this software doesn’t have the ability to do that because of the way it handles new posts….each post doesn’t have it’s own title so it makes it difficult to parse new posts.

This is open to anyone for suggestions and please answer the poll at the top….

I actually like the design and think its easier to navigate. The only thing I miss is the long ist of recent posts, but you just answered why that isn’t happening.

I’ll name a few of the things now:

          1: Recent post header
2: I like how i was able to view my indox messages, it just seem easier esp if you have many message in your box.
3:It was easier to go back through my journal with the old systesm esp if you had a long journal.
4: This may be weird but I have stumble on so many great topics this way, being able to view what other members are reading etc.

It seems since the forum has change its not as busy anymore 🙁

Thanks for feedback…I appreciate it and as in the past will try to put it to good use.

I’m trying to get the “recent posts” back but it’s taking some tricky workarounds due to the issues mentioned above. I likely won’t be doing anything for the inbox messages for sometime (because it affects a small minority and time is limited). What made it easier to read the journal? I’m going to check whether the option to see what others are reading is an option for this format.

I think part of the slow down on the forum was due to the unrelated server issues in December and early January that basically put the site out of commission for 4 weeks and also the fact that I haven’t been able to be as active on the site. I actually think that things have been picking up lately but haven’t returned to previous highs.

Whats wrong with the recent posts?

He’s referring to the fact that the last 30 posts no longer show up on the bottom of the forum page.

Spacing issue is resolved. Posts should be easier to read now. Keep the feedback coming.
