actually not destroyed but 9.85 to 9.72
          ya know. =D

          holy shit.

damn … Asafa said that he thinks he could run a 9.6 after he set the record… i didnt think it was possible but after this performance i think Asafa will smash that and drop a 9.6x. I didnt see the the footage today but ill be watching for it

          excellent blog name mike

I agree. and on top of all that was said it was a wet track.

however even though there were 3 sub 11-second 100 meters in the womans section, I admit had no idea that he could come over to new york and run a world record, that was the most amazing part.

          another amazing part –

ESPN STOPPED BROADCASTING AN HOUR BEFORE IT HAPPENED

          sucks to be espn ;D
          maybe they’ll learn from this.

On another note since usain bolt’s first sub 10 second 100 meter was a 9.76, and the fact he came out of no-where regardless if he did switch to 100 meter training or not, and I may regret saying this, but I strongly believe preformance enhancing drugs are involved in usains “insane” preformances.

Now, Believers of Usain please forgive me I do not mean any insult towards you, or usain himself, but I honestly think that it might be a pride issue. after losing to tyson gay, wallace spearmon, and being overshadowed by asafa, there’s no doubt someone has to want to become the best and everyone has there breaking point.

Now keep in mind all of this is speculation and I am not saying he has or is taking preformance enhancing drugs.

In fact, I pray that he isn’t, so we could have a clean, insanely talented figure in the track and field world that could possibly bring this sport back onto sports center stage.

but on the other hand, if he gets intense amounts of publicity from espn and others and then subsiquently tests positive, we may very well see the end of athletics.

who wants to be part of something that’s not real?

but until he does test positive…

ALL ABOARD THE BOLT BANDWAGON BABY

          ;D

I love the Race Photo on IAAF too

          Tyson: This is Madness!?

Usain: This…IS…A WORLD RECORD *Celebration Commences*

He’s now got some serious catching up to do as it appears he’s reinjured himself AND he’s coming off a head-to-head loss to Bolt at their national champs.
