The veterans had some fine showings in Palo Alto this Monday:

*Mo Greene runs a very nice 9.78 (albiet with 3.9m/s wind) beating back a very strong field. Mo looks as good as ever at this point of the season.

*John Godina unleashed his biggest throw in 2 years to win the shot put at a mark that would most certainly medal in Athens.

*Dragila looks to have returned to her form of 2 years ago as she had 2 very nice attempts at the U.S. record.

Colander running 22.36 was a good surprise too. Crystal Cox came in behind her (6'3"!!!!) at 22.5x and Felix in 22.71. Torri didn't look too good as she ran 22.89.

Mo looked GREAT. I don't think it matters that he had a 3.7 tailwin. His time is the 2nd fastest wind-aided ever and he destroyed an awesome field. I think I noticed that his transition was a lot smoother compared to the Home Depot meet.

I saw that vault by Dragila last night at 15'10". She barely hit it with her legs going up, otherwise she had it.
