Saladino barely made it to the final.

Have you noticed the big amount of fouls, even in the heptathlon?

          hey man..

          just saw all this …

Tomlinson only got to China about 2 days ago because he tore his calf at Crystal Palace and hasnt trained since that meet…so to be expected really..

The USA guys, i predicted that…unbelievable really, how they are so great in the USA but are not good anywhere else…happens quite often really…I waiting for the triple jump now, for the same thing to happen. Although i think Arrik Wilson is different and will do well…

Saladino is a really bad fouler and he did it again…i think if he hits just one jump however, he will win…Howe 🙁 really dissapointing…he was just way off the pace all year…

          My predictions, 1 – Saladino, 2 – rutherford, 3 – the greek

Does anyone have any footage of these jumps? We can’t count on NBC!!!

          Here is Saladino´s qualification jump:

          https://tvbox.tvn-2.com/view_video.php?viewkey=739141292a5429b952fe

He said: ” I have to readjust my runup since the runway is extremelly fast. I will definitely improve.”

In order to view the final tomorrow I suggest to view either panamian or greek tv through streaming.

Nope. USA triple jumpers flopped hard too.

It looks like the MVP for USATF is going to be USADA.

US triple jumpers screwed it badly.

Your “tounge in cheek’ being reality would be damming for a number of prior year’s successful athletes…

I am so tired of reading / hearing about Asafa’s tests in China. For that matter anyone stating that its a clean Games (when its because 99.9% are smart enough to have their systems clear by now)

Simple leveling of the field would be a World wide Thanksgiving urine sample. Maybe USADA can get Macy’s to sponsor? or Marvel Entertainment could enter a balloon in the parade. Say The Incredible Hulk with his shredded purple pants down around his ankles to remind the athletes of the world to give their sample…

Saddly, one of my most memorable moments of the Games will be the Vic Conte interview on CBC.

Yea but seriously I’m just trying to figure out what’s going on. What do we have? Shot put silver and heptath & 100m bronze? Haven’t put a jumper close to finals yet. Women 100m got swept. Our best performing shot putter barely hits 69′. Lagat can’t even make finals in the 1500. Ladies can get past the first round in 800m..what gives? I guess the events that include the numbers 4-0-0 in them will save us.

          wow wow wow…

i just got in to check the triple results and wow…im totally shocked!!!! like for real, something has to be going on here…USA TF must be totally embarressed right now..their athletes have been terribly prepared for these games…i really cant beleive their performances so far…

and, my word mortac i think your right now…major drug clamp downs have killed the USA athletes!!!? ? ?? ?

Mokoena was world indoor champ and camejo has the second best mark in the world this year. They all seemed to run extremelly slow on the runway, perhaps due to being affraid of fouling?

          Tsatoumas got screwed.

I didn’t see the event. How did he get screwed? I certainly hope he wasn’t called foul on a fair jump.

He fouled all his jumps but didnt even try to slow down in any. I didn´t express my self right, he got “auto screwed”. His qualification jump had already been a very close call, about half centimetre on the board left.

I would love to have the machine that levels the sand at my track 😀 .

I guess we have all been there at one time or another: auto-screwing is the worst screwing of all!

          haha…

Yeah its really sad when there is so much talent but they couldnt do anything becuase of fouling…(little personal dig here)

But really, imagine the sport with a take off zone and an auto measure-er from point of take off…perfect!!!

How about Naide Gomes fouling out being in well over 7m form. Last jump was probably WR for worst stutter resulting in about a 6m/s takeoff and still went 6.29.

wow really…shame, she is really a great jumper..

looks like “super fast” runways are not nesseccary and actually do more harm than good…
