Here's a question I got…
I guess "rumor has it" you're supposed to plan each microcycle with your workouts going from most CNS intensive to least to make for the best possible workouts, correct? But, what if you switched it up a bit as I plan on doing? What if you went hard-med-hard/med (somewhere b/t) with tempo in b/t?
Ex:
Monday – Acc. Dev.
Wednesday – Int. Tempo
Friday – Hills or bleachers
or
Monday – MaxV
Wednesday – Split Runs
Friday – MaxV
Does it really make a difference? I'd like to hear some thoughts.
