over the summer i dont have ne meets and i was wondering if i should run or just lift or lift and run or lift early in the summer and run l;ater or what should i do.
I think this one depends on your current training age, competition level, and current strengths and weaknesses. Give us some more info on these please.
im 15 and this was my first year of track, im not a great starter but im getting better, im also trying to work on the proper running technique and form, i should really try to get stronger
Yes markk, begin a quality wt. training program. This will get you started in the right direction as a sprinter/jumper.
You might want to consider just concentrating on lifting this summer to get stronger. I think you'll find that many technical deficiencies will disappear as you begin to get stronger.
