Super strength researcher has often stated that you can't have too much strength and I think that at the most simplistic level this is probably true. The issue is what's your bang for buck for increasing strength (their certainly reaches a point of diminishing returns), and what is the applicability of that strength. The latter question is a little muddy and somewhat of a philosophical question. How do we ascertain what strength development is applicable and what isn't? I haven't seen a great test of this….
