    pizza day of a meet??? urgent!!!

          i have a league meet frideay and saturday friday im doing 100 trials and 200 trials saturday TJ 4×1 and maybe 200 finals. my coach said to eat pizza for lunch on friday what do you guys think about this? and what should i do to be reaedy and not tired saturday?

          Pizza the day of a big meet? Pizza the day of a meet period? Are you kidding me? Did your coach just get out of N.A.?

          Eat how you would normally eat. Just make sure you got enuff calories to make it through the day.

          I actually ate about 12 pieces of pizza for lunch at an all-you-can-eat buffet the day I set my cross country 3 mile PR of 16:58. I stuffed myself, napped, woke up and ran. Didn't feel sick or anything after the race. I did this of course before I started reading this board and articles on regenerationlab. Also keep in mind this is probably the worst piece of advice ever posted on this board.

          yeah i know it sounds weird pizza day of a meet but he said something with the tomatoes the oils is good. I REALLY can not mess up this meet. I just cant have nutrition mess me up because it never did so far.

          Then stay away from pizza. There are some cases in which it migh not affect you (Rice), but don't take chances.
