Will Maurice Greene rise again? Do you still root for him? At thirty years of age is it too much to expect this old lion to beat sprinters like Gatlin and Crawford? Can he achieve worlds fastest man once more?

I don’t think we’ll ever see another olympic medal outta Mo. However, I fully believe that he is quite possibly the greatest sprinter of all time, and his performance in Athens was incredible, as was Crawford’s and Gatlin’s.

Greene may not be able to run 9.79 again but he’s far from washed up. The guy had one of the better sprint seasons in history this year…..it just so happened that it coincided with other athletes having better all-time great seasons too.

I definitely agree with mo. Just looking at the times that mo has been running in the olympic trials and the olympics show hes still got something left in him.

age? what’s that? I think if he has the drive it can make him faster than than younger runners…It’s the drive, the desire and dicipline..The body is an amazing creation and we really don’t know all there is to know..I say ALL things are possible…..of course i’m speaking for myself also…
