Hows this for a PWO Drink:
one scoop of whey protein (34g) which has
1.5 g glutamine
3 g glutamic acid (is this the same as glutamine??)
Along with many other Essential and Non- Essential Amino Acids
I also add one scoop of Carbo gain (34g) which is 100% maltodextrin.
If the workout really strains my CNS, i put in a teasppon of Glutamine powder (3 g)
I mix all this with about 16 oz. of skim milk (24 carbs, 16 protein)
Total: 58g carbs, 41 g protein, 4.5 g glutamine
At night i may make a yogurt smoothy, which consists of a cup of milk, one scoop of whey, a half cup of yogurt, and one banana (maybe other fruit too).
Total: 45g carbs, 43g protein
Also in the morning i like to sprinkle some whey powder on top of my three packets of instant oatmeal, yummm.
Pretty much im not sure if im getting the right combination of stuff and not to much glutamine, sorry this is so long, or if it doesn’t make any sense.
