    Quad/Groin pain.

          I have recently had a strange feeling in my upper left leg. The pain originates in the groin area, but it radiates out to the lateral side of my quad. I beleive it may be a circulation issue because when I get out of the shower, there is no pain for about 30 mins. It is very dull when I sit, but when I apply weight it gets more intense. Any idea what is up?

          The location you mentioned sounds like it could be the pectineus muscle. I doubt it’s a circulation problem as this is rarely ever the case in healthy individuals. If the muscle is strained, partially pulled, etc. a warm shower would ease the pain because it would lengthen the muscle and reduce tension in the area. Which of these specific motions which make it hurt:
          *hip adduction or abduction
          *hip flexion or extension
          *knee extension or flexion

          Adduction. It doesnt feel tight at all, and a light stretch feels like it does when its healthy, its pretty painful. From some reading it seems taht it could be a stress fracture to the pelvis, or even femoral neck.

          It could be a stress fracture but if this were the case it should probably hurt more with pressure than with movement. If you suspect that it is one of these injuries I’d suggest you get it looked at as soon as possible.
