During my sophmore year in high school(2000), I pulled my quad muscle during a practice. I don't have any problems from it today, but I don't think it healed properly. When I extend my leg, I see that there is a slight dent in one of my quad muscles. I don't know for sure, but I know believe that I slightly tore the muscle when I injured it. I know I didn't really sit out during this injury because I didn't think it was that severe. Is there a way I can stregnthen the muscle to get rid of the slight dent? Like I said, it doesn't bother me when I sprint now. It's kind of hard to explain, but basically the muscle healed, but healed kind of funny.
*Quadricep muscle healed wrong*
