    Quadricep tear rehab

          I have been getting over a qaudriceps tear, in the upper part of the rectus femoris. At this stage whenever I massage it, it leaves a bit of a bruise. If that's any indication as to how far it is on the road to recovery. Are there any rehab techniques that I should be implementing at this stage. I am trying to run and do whatever workouts on the track that I can without aggravating it further and then light weights, on it.

          If anyone has any reccomendations I'd like to hear them also. I aggrevated an old injury in the upper recoris femoris like QuarterMiler, and now whenever I use full ROM at anything higher than 85% intensity, it tightens up and gets painful. Its painful when not doing anything to it also, but only slightly.

          Not trying to hijack the thread, just giving it a bump 🙂

          Can you move it through a full ROM passively without pain?

          Yeah I can, I really can't explain it. Could it be from a strength imbalance? I have a pretty substantial difference between deadlift and squat. About 150 lbs.

          I get the same anything past 85% It seems to be getting better now with time and getting in the weight room more consistently
