Does anyone know if the spikes are removeable for the Mizuno Tokyos? I bought the Chrono Dash only to discover that the spikes weren't removable so I couldn't use them for indoor.

Why can't u use them??? I'm pretty sure the Tokyo's have permanent spikes as well. But someone on the CF forum said that the spikes are made of tungsten and are far superior to replaceable spikes and often outlast the shoe itself!

That's cool. I was happy I bought the Chrono's anyway beacuse they are so awesome for practice and outdoors. I'm going to check with my coaches about whether the Chrono's can be used for the indoor meets we're going to. I guess if not I'll have to get another pair. Thanks prophet.

Dang it, Prophet, you got to it before me 😀

Pete, I think all Mizuno spikes are permanent for future reference.

not all mizuo spikes are permenant. I had the ones with the flames in front of them, forget what they are called, but they had not permenant spikes.

Pete, how good are the chrono dash spikes? I am thinking about getting them. How wel do they fair on the turns?

Fabio, I'm sorry that I have to tell you this but I've actually never run a curve in the Mizuno's. I've been doing SE and tempo in flats, and just short speed/accels/maxV in spikes. For those I think they're amazing, I felt much more powerful as soon as I used them. Half of what they once were on East Bay now as well.

Thanks for the responses everyone. Fabio if you happen to come across the name of that pair please let me know. My coach said if I brought my Chronos in tomorrow he would be able to tell if I could use them at the meets.

Awesome, thanks Fabio! If my coach says I can't use the Chronos I'll get those.
