Warm up: 1200m fartlek jog to the track

2×30 sec seated arm pump, 1 min rest
Cool down: 2 laps
Static stretch
Comments: Didn’t really feel too energized today, had to rush through gym workout, but I did really get my glutes into the squats. Found myself really out of breath on the 120yds, maybe because I’m still sick and am now wearing a lot of layers to practice. Have to work on staying low in drive phase, more explosive arms , lift phase form became sloppy during runs hopefully better endurance at end of season

Cool down: 800m…became 200m after a Charlie horse in my calf
Comments: I don’t know what it is, I always get Charlie horses on 200m workouts where I try and go hard on the last one then when I go to jog the cool down I catch one. The 200s felt good but not very strong though

Comments: I never did a workout like this before…in my life…more tiring than I thought it would have been, the high knees felt easier than last time it tried to do that where I could barely do it one time

Comments: calf still hurts, glutes and hamstring feel a bit weak maybe overused so I went with the tempo low%

Comments: felt ok, better on the 100 than last time, maybe because i took out the down start and added more rest/ a rolling start. Felt good enough to add another set ( I planned on doing 1 originally). Felt more fatigue in the second set. Calf still there and some hangovers from the cold

Comments: felt ok, one of the better Saturdays maybe cause the weather has been warmer the last few days. Felt some pain below my knee and hamstrings still a little sore. Explosion at start needs improving/staying low
