Ok guys this may have been touched upon but id like to hear everyones opinion. For a college athlete that trains for every sprint including the occassional 400 and is also a solid long jumper where does long jump training fit into the athletes training.
Lets assume during the competition phase training was as follows…
Monday-Sp. End
Tuesday-Ext. Tempo
Wednesday-Accel/Max velocity
Thurs-Ext Tempo
Friday-Rest or premeet.
What should be done about long jump training and how and when should it be implemented for this athlete?
